Notes on these tracks:
- It's Halo! Right up front! For about 40 seconds, then it cuts off abruptly. So, this guitar+drum machine audio (or a close re-recording of it---it's the same general riff) is playing at the start of "Bigwheel" on Halo's 1993 album JAG/eye.velocity, except there it's been slowed down about 4.5%, and hard to hear under the spoken part (pan the whole thing hard to the left). Yes, I sat down and manually worked this out.
- "Map to the Stars" has Allen raising his voice, Dennis's guitar squealing
- ''I Hate The Government'' is Shoeface at maximum volume, so blown-out I can't actually tell if that's Bob or Nathan screaming. It has an additional credit to ''Rick J.'' which I am too stupid to interpret in a helpful way. Fast, loud.
- Franklin solo comes in right after the Shoeface barrage, and Franklin's track is given the lion's share of the A-side. "Lifetime Seance" is an acoustic solo version of what Nothing Painted Blue would later record as "Masonic Eye" on their 1994 album Placeholders.
- Satnam Puppets pop in for what sounds like an alarm clock left running and some harmonica. Fantastic.
- "Fluffy Cat" is one of Spgt's best.
- "Creepy" is an answering-machine-tape sotto voce song with pots-and-pans style percussion
- ''Me And My Arrow'' is a Harry Nilsson cover.
- The boys of Jim Bishop are credited here at the end, but instead of harsh noise, there's just a looping cheerful piano/drum bit.
"Map to the Stars", "Fluffy Cat", and "Creepy" were selected for CD comp-of-comps Abridged Perversion.
