This is some fun acoustic-and-percussion stuff. The clips will give you a good sense of things, it's a nice heartfelt little tape.

As a note: I once had a friend over who saw the tape, got confused, and after some roundabout web-searching we figured out he was confusing them with Portland indie rockers Blitzen Trapper. Make no mistake, these guys are doing their own thing!

Bingo Trappers are out of Amsterdam: Waldemar Noe and Wim Elzinger. Generally the outfit is referred to as those two as the core, plus others. I do know their later LP on Shrimper (page coming soon) also has Geert de Groot on bass, and very likely the same Tinca mentioned in this tape's J-card, Tinca Veerman. de Groot is also on a '96 tape, I'm told. No guesses from me on the "Bart" here unless I'm misreading Dennis's handwriting. Looking forward to getting a page up for the record later in the catalog and having more for you all to hear.
