Refrigerator - Long 33&1-3 Play (1993) [18 Wheeler, EWR-006, 12"]

Bob Durkee plays drums on $1.000 Stage + slide guitar on "Slide". Joel does all the synsonics. Dennis sings "Future Airline" and "Slide". Allen did the insert. extra layout + stuffing by tom m. pre recording with steve cronk. thanks to all of our friends + foes.
This insert implies the bonus track is called "Slide". The final track of the album is actually a very loud cover of Springsteen's "State Trooper" (Refrigerator has covered it a few times). Allen suspects this was neither a last-minute change nor was it Tom at 18 Wheeler missing something, more than likely it was the brothers Callaci having a little fun.

What Does This Album Sound Like?

Well, this is a great one. Personally it's top 3 Refrigerator records for me, and I wish there was an easier way for people to hear it. It never got a reissue, or a digital release, just the 700 copies of the 18 Wheeler run, and Tom Scharpling at 18 Wheeler hand spray-painted every last one of them in his backyard. All the covers are unique, and I have a lot of them, so my photos are all at the bottom of this page for you to enjoy, to see the range of Tom's work.

"Tourists" was re-recorded for Glitter Jazz. "Class of Next Year" was originally on Lonesome Surprize. Steve Cronk, cited as helping with pre-recording, was a KUCI DJ and member of Big Breakfast.
